Every visit is designed to engage the senses and create lasting memories—an experience as soulful and inviting as the wines themselves. Walk-ins are welcome, however we encourage reservations. Legend Wine Experience

It features our signature whites and four remarkable reds—including our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a rare single-barrel Cabernet Franc, and select library wines. A must for Cabernet Sauvignon lovers.

Celebrate the flavors of Oaxaca and the wines of Napa Valley in this unique tasting at Bazán Cellars. Enjoy six Mario Bazán wines paired with three traditional mole dishes, guided by Gloria Bazán’s warm hospitality and cultural storytelling.

At Bazán Cellars, everything begins in the vineyard. Mario has always believed that great wines are born from meticulous farming, respect for the land, and hands-on care in every detail.

Bazán Family Vineyard

Planted in 2006 on the border of the Coombsville AVA, our Estate Vineyard is home to Cabernet Sauvignon Clones 412 and Grace Clone. The site features gravelly volcanic soils layered with ash and clay, providing excellent drainage while limiting vigor—ideal for producing concentrated fruit. The cooler temperatures of Coombsville allow the grapes to ripen slowly, building complexity while preserving natural acidity. This vineyard forms the backbone of our winemaking, yielding Cabernet Sauvignon of depth, structure, and elegance

Coomsville Vineyards

Beyond our Estate Vineyard, we farm two distinctive sites in the Coombsville AVA that bring depth and diversity to our wines. On Shadybrook Lane, Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 337 thrives in rocky volcanic soils and a cool valley-floor climate moderated by morning fog and afternoon breezes. The result is fruit of intensity, concentration, and finesse, forming the foundation of our RAMA Cabernet Sauvignon. Just a few miles away on Kruzer Lane, Cabernet Franc Clones 327 and 332 are rooted in volcanic tuff and alluvial soils, producing grapes with lifted aromatics, fine-grained tannins, and a vibrant structure. Together, these two Coombsville vineyards showcase the AVA’s hallmark elegance and balance, while offering unique expressions of Bordeaux varietals.

Roots & Flavors Experience

Discover the beauty of pairing tradition and craftsmanship at the Bazán Cellars Tasting Room in downtown Napa. This cultural journey brings together six Mario Bazán wines with three authentic mole dishes from Oaxaca, Mexico—honoring Mario Bazán’s homeland and the depth of its culinary heritage.

Each mole is paired with two distinct wines, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience how flavors evolve, contrast, and harmonize across the table. More than a tasting, this experience is a celebration of culture, winemaking, and the timeless connection between food and wine.

Please note: All dishes are vegetarian and prepared with a variety of nuts.
